The Electrical SWMS training was presented by one of our Directors, Nikki Labuschagne, a leader in his field with many years of experience. During the Electrical Installation Safe Working Method Statement Training, the employees were educated on: Conduit and Trunking to be installed according to the National Electrical Standards. Cables/Wiring to be installed according to the National Electrical Installation Specifications. Distribution Board Installation to be done by qualified electrician(s). Installation of Luminaries. Electrical Installation Testing – Dead tests must be conducted before live testing. (Megger and continuity tests). Certificate of Compliance (COC) to be done by competent person (Electrician with Wireman’s license). CCTV and Access Control Safe Working Method Statement Training with Multi-Net Systems
Our second SWMS training session was focused on one of our specialised services – CCTV and Access Control. The CCTV and Access Control SWMS training was respectively presented by Schalk van der Merwe and Wiets Engelbrecht. Both these individuals have many years’ experience and are highly qualified and respected within the Security industry. The objective of the CCTV SWMS training is: To address the safe methods for CCTV Installation, in compliance with regulation on all sites. To ensure the safe working operation of employees at all times. To avoid damage to equipment and machinery. To avoid breaks in production (down-time due to an accident and/or incident). To ensure correct installation (first time right). To ensure compliance with Legislation. During the Access Control SWMS training the following topics were discussed: Installation of Access Control System Equipment, including Controllers, Readers, Door Magnets, Door Closers, Break Glass Units, Door Monitors, etc. Programming, Fault Finding and Commissioning. Completion Document Control, Operating Maintenance Manuals and Close Out Handover By empowering our employees, we consistently aim to provide outstanding services, thereby ensuring our clients receive the best quality, with every installation – big or small, commercial or residential.
Fire Detection Safe Working Method Statement Training at Multi-Net Systems
Multi-Net Systems kicked off the SWMS training initiative with one of our specialised services – Fire Detection Installations. The training was facilitated by Mauro Manenti and Andre du Plessis who are highly qualified and respected individuals who have many years’ experience within the Fire Detection industry. During the Fire Detection Safe Working Method Statement Training, the employees were educated on: The correct and proper method of installing Conduit and Trunking. The installation, connection and labelling of Detector Bases, Break Glass units, Sounders, Strobes, Interface/Input units and Relay/Output units. The installation, commissioning and programming of Fire Panels. Fault Finding of the system. Safety Regulations, Quality and Environmental requirements related to the installation. Positive feedback was received from both the trainers and trainees who attended the training session. Safe Working Method Statement Training

During the months of July, August and September our staff will be attending Safe Working Method Statement (SWMS) Training on the various specialised installations Multi-Net Systems have to offer.
